Codes and conventions of a digipack

Front
This consists of the title of the album and sometimes a picture of the band or artist. The front is significant because this is what is promoted to the public.

The album artwork will be eye catching to draw the costumer in and will relate to the theme of the album.

Back
The back will normally include the track list. It sometimes can have extra information and will advertise the record label that produced the album.

The background picture will normally be related to the album artwork at the front.

Inside
This is where the actual CD is kept. Around the outside of the CD holder is another piece of album artwork to go with the rest of the artwork.

Sometimes there are personal messages and lyrics of the songs included in the album.
