Performance
There is a basis for a very high energetic performance from all the band because of the song is very fast-paced. The guitarists are 'head-banging' to match the beat of the music. Throughout the video the whole band are moving about and being very energetic. This is conventional for rock music videos especially when this song is fast-paced and hard-hitting. Our performance will be energetic because one of the components our video is about having fun therefore being energetic is significant of our video. The lead singer performance is ever present in this video. Close-up shots of the singer show his emotions. He seems very angry when singing and you can tell that by his facial expressions. There is also one bit when he slams the microphone stand on the floor and this is established by the camera frame used; a long shot. Slamming the mircophone stand emphaises the singers energetic and believable performance. It is essential for the leader singer to have a good performance because this is one of the ways the audience can try and understand the narrative and themes of the music video because the audience can have a connection with the singer. We want our lead singer to show certain emotions such as being energetic and care-free so that the audience can relate and also the audience can understand that the our music video is about having fun.
